	Needlefelting I have started to make bears and other items from needlefelting. Briefly it is the art of creating 3D figures from wool that has been washed, carded, combed and dyed but not spun. The creations are made using felting needles which have barbs on them so that when they are repeatedly poked into the wool they cause it to tangle. The longer you work the wool the tighter and firmer it becomes.
